What is the Emergency Child Restraint?
The revolutionary Emergency Child Restraint is designed to safely secure children during EMS transport in any emergency vehicle. Since it is not acceptable for a child to be transported unrestrained on a cot, whether it is a new-born or a teenager, the Emergency Child Restraint provides the perfect solution in all situations.
In an ambulance it can be quite a challange to transport small babies and children. With the emergency child restraint you have a system that can safely transport children from 2 to 50 kg. The Emergency Child Restraint has been crash tested under the strictest of environments. The package contains 3 harnesses (grey, red and blue) for 3 weight catagories. From 2 to 50 kg. And it includes 4 extra long universal cot straps for any cot, without the need to purchase “accesories/adaption kits” or car seats. On top there is also an additional head support in the package for patient comfort and satbility.

Fits children of any size and shape
The 3 color coded Emergency Child Restraint harnesses cover a weight range of between 2 and 50 kg, offering the maximum protection available for children of any size and weight, while also exceeding the current NASEMSO guidance. For visibility it uses a unique quick reference color coded labelling system (broselow color code).
Designed with patient comfort in mind
The Emergency Child Restraint has a unique soft touch system, with full clinical access to the torso, without removing the restraint during transport.
Fits on all types of cots
The ECR includes 4 extra long universal cot straps for any cot, without the need to purchase “accesories/adaption kits” or car seats. So they fit on Stryker, Ferno, Spencer, Kartsana, Stollenwerk and many more cots of different manufacturers.
