Malta International Airport opts for Escape Mobility
Malta International Airport (MIA) recently purchased Escape-Chair® evacuation chairs for the terminals.
By doing this Malta Airport follows the Regulation EU 1107/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 5 July 2006 concerning the rights of disabled persons and persons with reduced mobility when travelling by air.
The equipment will be installed on a short term notice and the staff will get trained by Escape Mobility in using the evacuation equipment and handling the PRM travelers.
Contact us when you want your airport to be prepared for evacuation.
