What is the Lifebox®?
The new way to save babies in an emergency situation.
Designed and manufactured in Switzerland.
The Lifebox® is designed to save babies in emergency situations. The concept is that inside the Lifebox® an overpressure system is built up. Within this closed system, babies are provided with breathing air for 35 minutes. This protects them from a wide range of emergencies such as fire, smoke or gas leaks. And best of all: no medical expertise is needed to use our Lifebox®.
Imagine a fire in a hospital. The smoke from the fire can quickly become life-threatening. After five to seven breaths in the smoke, an adult is unconscious. Two or three more breaths and he is dead. This is why medical personnel are trained in how to act in an emergency situation. There are respirators and oxygen masks that protect adults and children from the smoke. But how do you protect infants? The youngest and most defenceless among us are not protected from fire. And this despite the fact that for infants, just two or three breaths in smoke are fatal. Current rescue methods – for example, transport in an incubator weighing up to 160 kg, under the protective jackets of rescue workers or unprotected evacuation via the fire ladder – are life-threatening for infants.

The Lifebox® Locker
The Lifebox® should be stored at room temperature and protected from UV light. We also recommend storing the Lifebox® near the infants so that it is immediately at hand in case of emergency. To meet these requirements, we have developed a solution that meets clinical requirements and provides additional storage space for nursing staff. This Lifebox® Locker can be customised to the orgnisation’s corporate identity on request, and at an additional cost.

MAINTENANCE EVACUATION EQUIPMENT
To ensure an optimal condition of an evacuation chair, maintenance is required at least once a year. Any defects can be remedied in this way and the evacuation chair is always in a guaranteed ready-to-use condition. This allows evacuations, in a company or organisation, to proceed safely.
You can request free advice with our site survey, where we look for the most suitable evacuation concepts for your organisation.
In addition, we support staff with training courses and you can make use of one-off maintenance or maintenance agreements.
